Fees

O'Neills understands that this is a very important issue for all clients and that not knowing how much something is going to cost can be stressful. We aim to reduce that stress by discussing fees with you openly and from the very first consultation.

Fees are determined in one of several ways including:

Fixed Fee

In certain types of matters such as the conveyancing of residential properties eg houses, units, etc. and when making a Will or Power of Attorney we can tell you exactly what the cost will be subject to major variations of the standard work which sometimes does occur.

Hourly Rate

In commercial type matters such as drafting agreements or in court matters we charge an hourly rate but even in those instances we will give you our best estimate given that any number of matters can affect what work is required to be done and even then, in some instances we can give you a fixed price.

Where the professional costs are likely to exceed $1500, we will provide you with a Costs Notice and require you to enter into a Costs Agreement which will state any fixed fee or hourly rate and detail the method of calculation for outlays.

I have been associated with Kerry O'Neill for 24 years using his services as a Solicitor/Business Lawyer in both my business and personal needs. During that time I have found him to be a person of integrity and someone who I can rely upon for the right legal advice. He has performed these duties efficiently and promptly.

As a Financial Planner I have also had the privilege of referring clients and friends to Kerry on a regular basis. The feedback from those that I have referred has always been positive and they like the boutique personalised service that O'Neills Business Lawyers offer.
